The North Pacific Cannery is the longest running cannery in BC history. The Cannery features exhibits, guided tours, original architecture, and historically-inspired cuisine. Take the hour-long guided tour and explore the historic boardwalks, industrial buildings, and surrounding beautiful wilderness. Exhibits include The Canning Line, a look at the packaging of salmon, Fishing Methods, an exploration of salmon as a resource, and the Train Display, the largest model train display in the region. When you’re ready for a break, The Mess House serves delicious lunch, baked goods, and coffee. And make sure to bring something special home from the gift shop!
